BMW G310 R

BMW G310 R

This is BMW’s first under-650cc motorcycle…and it’s about time too. What a great way to enter the the market with the all new BMW G 310 R. I admit climbing off a 1000cc and straight onto the G 310 R left me wondering if the G 310 R was able to get me to my destination quickly enough. It only took a few minutes to adjust and boy, what a lovely, light, and nimble riding experience this new little one delivers!

One of the things that BMW understands very well, is high quality. Whether for a 1000cc or 313cc motorcycle, BMW Motorrad knows how to develop high-quality accessory solutions. With the G 310 R the luggage rack is definitely one of the best ones among its competitors, adding to a bit of individuality in this category.

Standard, the BMW G 310 R comes with the following:

  • BMW Motorrad ABS
  • Multi-functional display (digital clock, speed, rev and gear display, dual trip distance counters, coolant temperature, fuel level and range display, side stand warning, and much more besides)

* Five-spoke cast aluminium wheels (tyres: front 110/70 R17, rear 150/60 R17)

* Side stands with cut-out switch

* Stainless steel exhaust system

* LED rear light

This sporty commuter was built to run around the city, but even though some may feel it’s not

ideal for the open road, it is guaranteed not to let you down there, either. With maximum quality, excellent

workmanship and extraordinary technology, you’ll hardly notice that it’s only a 313cc machine.

This is a powerhouse!

Most make and models this size is limited with color choices. The BMW G 310 R allows you to

choose from these three different options;

  1. Cosmic black
  2. Strato blue metallic
  3. Pearl white metallic

Some highlights of the BMW G 310 R is the gold anodised fork and brake calipers, and the

detailed aluminium swing arm. The special engine concept also allows a very long swinging arm

despite the short wheelbase, and therefore ensures increased ride stability. This emphasises on the high-quality engineering, workmanship and riding pleasure of the machine.

The BMW G 310 R is a good looking smaller bike, great to maneuver around town and with exceptional genes from the RR you simply can’t go wrong!
